About Marty Milk

Marty Milk is a NZ-owned dairy brand. We sell milk, cheese, butter, yoghurt, and ice cream at honest prices. Every product follows one formula: landed cost + 15% margin + GST. That’s the retail price. No exceptions.

In March 2026, Fonterra sold Anchor, Mainland, Kapiti, Fresh’n Fruity, Primo, and Mammoth to Lactalis, a French company owned by the Besnier family (net worth $43.8 billion). About 85% of NZ dairy shelf space now sends profits offshore. We’re building the alternative.

A NZ-owned dairy factory south of Auckland. Our milk comes from NZ farms and is processed, bottled, and shipped entirely within New Zealand.

We use the same rPET retro bottle as Lewis Road Creamery. Available in 750ml and 1.5L. It’s recyclable and made from recycled plastic.

Pricing & The Receipt

Every product: retail = landed cost × 1.3225. That’s landed cost + 15% margin + GST on the total. We print the full breakdown on every label. Landed cost, our cut, GST, you pay.

For every product you buy, we calculate give cents = round(retail × 3). That money goes directly to named community partners. School lunches, breakfast clubs, community fridges. We publish every cent on our website.

Because the price is already honest. Sales and specials are how supermarkets hide their real margins. If the regular price is fair, you don’t need to wait for a discount.

Wholesale
